What a great opener to the concert season, the band were fantastic. It was a pity that we had a few of our own players missing (for valid reasons), they missed a great show. My thanks to the ‘deps’ who stepped in at short motice.

It was a good event Alex and lots of people said they were coming, but didn’t. 10th July was the day we all had trouble parking and getting into practice though because of the car boot sale next door, so I always wondered if that put them off.

It is a real shame that they left… I have added a link to this website on my blog, so hopefully people who play./want to play brass will click on the link, see this website and join the band.

Brilliant website! It just shows that Tingley Brass Band is a great band! I noticed that the members section isn’t quite up to date – there are people there who have left the band (eg. Isaac, Lee, Jordan).

Overall an amazing website. Hopefully it will get more players.

From, Alex Simkin (2nd Cornet in Training Band, 3rd in Main Band, friend of Gregory Morris… know who I am yet?!).
